THE P&A CREDITORS MEETING SERVICE

For many years P&A have provided a free, nationwide Creditors Meeting Service for independent firms of accountants and their clients.

The service gives your client a better picture on the likelihood of any recovery of an outstanding debt; where your client has relevant information on suspect financial activity we are often able to pursue the debtor to the creditor’s advantage. Importantly, our reports and activity can add value to your client relationship.

So if you, or a client receives notice of a creditors meeting please send to us:

  • The notice of the meeting
  • Proof of debt form signed by the client
  • Proxy form signed by the client
and we will ensure their claim is correctly recorded.

Approximately 7 working days after the meeting your client will receive a copy of the directors’ report and/or a private report from ourselves which will reveal the history, the financial state, the statement of affairs and a view on the prospect of a dividend.

The claim will be regularly monitored and they will receive copy reports and dividend information as and when they are issued.

If you have evidence of wrongful trading and you wish your client to be represented at the meeting, please telephone to discuss the case and please ensure you send the documentary evidence with items 1-3, above.
