An extract from the book 'Corporate Rescue & Insolvency 2000'

The P&A Partnership

Two partners handle investigation and insolvency work for numerous lenders, but there is a bias to non bank work. Three partners concentrate on liquidations and voluntary arrangements, and some 90 per cent of the work is referred by other professionals. The firm also acts for all the tobacco trades north of Birmingham, some suppliers to the construction industry and a number of PLCs. As might be expected given the firm's presence in Sheffield, it also acts for many of the main suppliers to the cutlery industry.

This firm might suit: The obvious choice in Sheffield, where it is head and shoulders above the competition ('They've got Sheffield stitched up': remarks a user), The P&A Partnership has risen to become one of the leading insolvency firms in the country, particularly if the liquidation statistics are anything to go by. A strong choice, with a distinct partner led service.
